Boehly 'will do deal' for new forward at Stamford Bridge

Paul Brown of the Daily Star reports that Chelsea is "still looking" to bolster Thomas Tuchel's first-team roster this summer.

Raheem Sterling joined the Blues for £47.5 million from Manchester City, expanding their attacking options. A right-sided forward may now be the next target for the Blues.

Raphinha's transfer to Chelsea from Leeds United was reportedly set to cost £55 million, according to a report by David Ornstein of The Athletic from last month.

Spanish outlet Marca also stated that the west London outfit were best placed to snap up Ousmane Dembele, who was a free agent following the expiration of his previous contract with Barcelona.
Raphinha ultimately decided against moving to Chelsea in favor of joining the Catalan powerhouses, while Dembele has agreed to new terms with Xavi's side.

Chelsea are now searching the market for substitute players to play in the last third of the field while also attempting to finalize agreements for center backs Jules Kounde and Presnel Kimpembe.

What did Brown say regarding Chelsea?
Brown thinks the previous attempts by the capital club to get Raphinha and Dembele show Tuchel is looking for a right-winger and they will make a move if the appropriate opportunity arises.

The fact that they tried to get Raphinha and/or Dembele from Barcelona shows that the manager wants another forward of some sort, he remarked in an interview with GiveMeSport.

They're still exploring in that area, and in my opinion, if they can find the right candidate and the deal can go through, they will.

Barcelona have submitted a ‘final offer’ for Leeds United winger Raphinha according to reports in Spain, with one of the summer’s most protracted sags set to be coming to an end.
